Dutch Tulip Dish
Here is a rare vintage historical dish icon tweeted to me in the past week while I am away from digital life. @Edwin van Drecht, thanks very much for sharing with me this rare great historical icon from the Dutch Golden Age, such a beautiful piece of art! From our past few weeks having our first-time holiday as a couple with my husband in Tasmania, I finally saw the Dutch Tulip farm in north-west coast tip of Tasmania where I have read some of their bulbs are currently exporting to Holland. I understand why bulbs are great from that side of Tasmania because of its perfect climate and environmental location for it. Unfortunately, their gift shop is closed on that day we visited maybe preparing for their upcoming Blooming Tulip Festival in Wynyard town, which we did miss as we travelling down other parts of Tassie :-)
@jenniferRbaulch @scoopit In the Dutch Golden age the tulip was very popular. Here a rare early Dutch Delft dish. pic.twitter.com/AYNBDHqGTQ
